To create meaningful work, one has to say “no” to a lot of stuff. Whether it’s shirking water cooler talk or deleting social media applications, say no to make space for creativity and innovation.
There’s a reason people get most of their work done in odd places. Prioritize instead of assuming you can get meaningful work done with a dozen things vying for your attention. Know when you’re tired. And never forget why you’re performing a certain task.
